Jachrid Station was in night mode on the western side, which meant the lights were down and a fair chunk of the population was off either on the other side of the place or in bed. On the lower levels though, that didn't matter much, since it was always dark, and usually fairly crowded. Down a particularly dingy alleyway lined with soiled dumpsters, a single flickering sign noted the location of a bar. The door to the establishment was heavy, blastproof metal...and it looked like it had been hard put to it at one time or another.
Behind it was a rather different establishment...a clean and lively gambling hall full of rowdy, drunk patrons and a thick acrid smoke which seemed to be everpresent. Kaikoura wandered through this place carrying a silver tray bearing three glasses. The tray itself was covered by a shimmering energy field...deadly to the touch, but perfect for keeping drinks from being 'accidentally' poisoned.
She was given a wide berth in the place, despite her size and position...everyone knew she was one of the personal slaves of the boss, and that crossing her, even to harass her was dangerous. At least when she was carrying such important cargo. She wove her way through the crowd towards the back, past a thick looking bouncer with four folded arms, heading up a flight of stairs. Her footsteps slowed...she was not eager to get back.

Elsewhere, there was a primitive planet, untouched and seemingly useless for any advanced collective of people, good for nothing but entertainment to those up in the stars.
On that planet, was a young, and very tough hunter. Today however, she had put a bit too much on her plate, a gargantuan dragon towered over her, blue and green mist flowing from it's maw. It opened it's mouth, firing a blast at her, leaving barely enough time for her to roll out of the way, her arm getting badly singed, the skin turning white and crackling dry. She ignores the pain and makes another thrust at the beast, the metal lance piercing hide. It roars, and swipes her out of the way, knocking Naja across the graveled ground.
The ancient wyvern was tired, he'd had enough. It opens it's maw again, and exhales a thick beam of green and blue light, right at Naja.
She couldn't get up fast enough in time, staring on at the incoming light with anger. How could she fail?
After the smoke and dust had settled, Naja was gone, leaving her armour and weapon behind. She was but a pile of ash now... or so the dragon thought.

Kaikoura pushes open the door into the private betting room at the top of the stairs. The creme of the crop of the stations underworld was in here, the room considerably less rowdy than the room below. Those here were also dressed a lot more...dapper than those in the rabble. She carries the tray towards the back of the room, where a massive seat was situated behind a dimly lit table.
Kaikoura avoided eye contact with anyone sitting down as she sets down the tray. She's smacked on the butt by the nearest creature and she forces herself not to react. Behind her, there was a huge virtual monitor dominating the wall...she didn't turn to look at it. She knew by the cheers what was going on. They'd been watching an betting on monster hunting again and the sounds were turning angry...the hunter was losing. She tries to inch away from the table, just in case the creature gripping her had bet against the monster...
"S'gotth!" the creature at the head of the table, a Guun named Gartik (and Kaikoura's owner) shouts angrily. Kaikoura winces...she had grown to expect being struck after a shout like that...
He slams his grotesque hand onto a button on the table before him and teleports the hunter to safety -relatively speaking- just before shes incinerated. Kaikoura would know where she was moments later when she was ordered down to the holding cells to fetch her...

Naja had her eyes shut tight from the glare, crouched on the ground, posed in a way that would be pretty defensible if she still had a shield. She was expecting hot fiery death... but she felt cold suddenly. Why? She opens her eyes slowly then opens them quicker, standing up and looking around with panic. Where was this? She didn't know, and it frightened her greatly. She'd much rather be fighting the wyvern again!
She takes a moment to lean against a cold metal wall, trying to slow her breathing and calm down. She realizes she's stark naked but it doesn't bother her too much. There was no one around and she was accustomed to hanging out in unisex bath houses with a bunch of large male hunters, anyway.
She looks to the cell door. Everything was so unusual here. Who could afford to make rooms entirely out of metal? Why were the bars in the window made of light? She reaches out to touch the light bars, only to scream as it gives her a nasty shock. She staggers back and leans against the cold wall again, glaring at the door. This was obviously a prison. And that makes her mad.
She grits her teeth, and shouts out, throwing a blurring punch at the door, which lets out a loud clang, and leaving a small dent. She pulls her hand back, shaking it to get feeling back, looking at what little she achieved. It was clearly a lot stronger than it looked. She had never seen such high quality steel before, if it even was steel.
There was little for her to do here, but wait to find out why she was here. A dragon would have no use for a cell... she must have collapsed, and someone kidnapped her. They would need to die for this. Naja sits down on the ground, crossing her legs, and entering meditation...

Kai lingered in the hall at the top of the stairs leading down into the holding cell area. She didn't have long...if the alien wasn't in the arena in a fairly short amount of time, she'd be punished again...but her head was still swimming from being struck just moments before.
Gartik had lost a fair bit of credits on the hunter, and he wasn't prepared to let that go easily. Kai and her matron slave had both tasted his wrath, but Kai was fortunate. Being younger, she was sent on the errand while Nahya was left to comfort the repulsive Guun and soothe his battered ego. It'd be her job in less than what passed for a year on the station...
She sighs and plods down the cold metal steps, stopping to retrieve the magnetic restraints and stun wand from their storage cabinet before she peeks around the corner to the line of dark cells. Truth be told, the alien frightened her terribly... Gartik had been betting on her for a long time -a long term investment is how he preferred to refer to her- and the creatures she fought, though outwardly more terrifying, rarely stood a chance against her. Kai knew she wouldn't stand a chance.
She takes a breath and moves out, walking with a somewhat sensual demeanor. Confident, alluring, relaxed. She was to go about her task, not looking like a threat, but not looking vulnerable either. Finally she reaches the cell and turns to face the alien. Kaikoura was around 5' herself. Thin and somewhat ropey in build. In addition to her metallic head restraint, she wore a metallic-looking white bodysuit with no legs or arms, high cut on the hip and arms, revealing a fair amount of her blue skin. It was textured heavily in a hexagonal pattern and bore a broad thick, black band across her chest and across her upper arms. A barcode was bolted onto it as well.
"Tooalah zi bonita" she says to the alien in a calm voice.

Naja doesn't open her eyes for a few moments, as if being merely defiant and spiteful as she ignores Kaikoura. However, she knew that wouldn't get her anywhere anytime soon, so she slowly stands and opens her eyes. What was that language though? Nothing she had heard before certainly.
She stares at Kaikoura for a good few moments, and only JUST manages not to look surprised. She had never seen such a creature before. Blue skin and tendrils made her look like a monster in Naja's eyes. Or half a monster perhaps. She had met people before, half wyvern although it's beyond her how that ever actually happened. Still, she wasn't the strangest thing ever, so Naja stowed her questions in that matter for now. There were more important things to find out.
She moves towards the electrical cell bars, and glares through them at Kaikoura, getting a good look. Naja, in turn, was naked in her appearance, and made no effort to cover herself. It certainly didn't make her look any less tough though, her muscled and scarred skin true evidence of a battle hardened Hunter. There were a few tribal looking tattoos too, but they were hard to see, black against dark brown skin. Her hair was spiky and long, and without her hairband it was quite a mess, flowing down past her shoulders and doing a poor job of covering her chest.
"I have not an idea what you say creature." she says in her native tongue, a language which probably wasn't in use anywhere else but her little primitive home world. She eyes the stun wand. She didn't know what it was, but she knew a weapon when she saw one. She notes it, and moves her eyes elsewhere. The clothing Kaikoura wore... it was so strange to Naja. She didn't know what to make of it, although something about it was nagging at her. The blue girl did not seem to be that big though. To Naja it seemed, not a difficult fight if it came to it.

Kaikoura didn't seem fazed by her appearance much, being a slave, and used to dealing with prisoners, she'd seen pretty much everything there was to see. Humanoids were honestly rather unremarkable in appearance compared to some things. She clears her throat and presses a part of the black band which wraps around her shoulders. It glows a bit in response.
"Can you understand me now?" she asks in the same tone.

Naja looks surprised, blinking a bit at Kaikoura through the bars, taken back by hearing her speak another language without a hint of accent. "You speak my language, strange girl?" she asks, the translator picking up Naja's voice, the hunter moving forward, her face closer to the bars now, in danger of getting zapped. "Why am I captive like some beast? Where is this? Who are you? What are you for that matter? And where are my weapons?" she asks, the last one being more of an angry demand to return said weapons than anything else. She keeps staring straight on at Kaikoura, before quietly saying, "Your wear is not by choice, is it?", mostly to herself as she thinks. "Am I to be enslaved? Is that it?" she then asks Kaikoura directly. She had so many questions, but they started to not matter, anger rising in her at the prospect of someone trying to make her a slave. She grits her teeth and yells, slamming the door again, leaving another small dent.

Kai shakes her head. "Please step back against the wall" she says simply. She held tightly to the wand, even if she was protected by the bars (for the moment). "I'll explain everything once we've gotten you prepared." She inwardly winces...she'd said too much. That part was for AFTER she'd been restrained.
She tightens her gloved grip on the wand, the motion making a vaguely rubbery grinding noise. "I don't want to harm you. Please step back and everything will be fine." Somewhere above them comes a thunderous crashing sound followed by voices, but they were far too muffled to hear. Whatever was happening...it didn't sound good.

Naja grits her teeth, glaring at Kaikoura from behind the bars. She eyes the wand, wondering what power it held. They had magic bars made from lightning... who knows what that thing could do. It could boil the flesh from her bones for all she knew.
She closes her eyes and thinks, her anger hiding itself for now... she wasn't in the best position to fight. She was unarmed, while her opponent was. Even if that weapon was a simple knife it would still be dangerous to tackle head on. She sighs and steps back, leaning against the wall, opening her eyes and watching Kaikoura.
"Fine. I shall do as you ask. You do not seem to warrior type. More a servant. You are just doing as you are told, aren't you?" she says, trying to justify her own surrender. "If you attempt to harm me though, I shall strike back with twice the ferocity." she warns, holding up her hand.
She glances up at the ceiling and says "What is going on?", muttering to herself mostly.

As soon as she steps back against the wall, it reacts! Slimy tendrils burst through slots behind her and with the cracking of a whip latch themselves to Naja's wrists, ankles, torso and head. Kaikoura would give them a minute -making sure they were securely held to her before stepping in. The warrior was lifted off her feet and suspended a few inches in the air as the younger blue creature stepped forward brandishing the shackles.
"Please relax while I prepare you"
She sets to work at once, securing Naja's wrists with heavy metal bracers bound together by cables nearly as thick as Kaikoura's arms. They'd be hard to move for most, but then Naja wasn't a normal humanoid.
"Once you are dressed, you'll need to follow me" Kai says once the bracers are in place. She attaches a set to her legs as well, they'd keep her from running, if nothing else. Kai turns, leaving Naja suspended in the air for a moment as she exits the cell and moves to the side, placing her hand on something unseen.
"Clothes. Female. Self-adjusting. Arena." There is a sort of whooshing sound and as if from nowhere, she produces a sort of silverish uniform that was...sort of like hers, but looked a little more sturdy.
"Please dress" she says, setting the outfit on the floor and stepping back into the hall. As soon as the energy bars reactivate, the tendrils let go, dropping Naja to the floor again.

Naja goes eyes wide and immediately tries to fight back, letting out a roar. Her arms tense as she tries to push them forward, the tendrils stretching only very slightly before her arms get pulled back against the wall. She growls and keeps struggling despite Kaikoura's request for her to relax.
"You, bitch." she says, when she eventually manages to be calm enough to talk. "Are you really so dishonourable to use such a dirty tra-.. wait." She pauses and glances down at the tendrils. Slimy, tendrils. "... I think I've seen this in a rather crude woodcarving before." mutters the naked woman held up by tentacles. She shakes that thought off, trying to push her thighs together slightly in the meantime. She looks to Kaikoura again, and then down at the bindings. They didn't bother her that much really. In fact, she smiled... they were heavy, and that meant a lot.
"How am I to dress with these on?" she asks, jostling the bindings some, as little as she could with the tendrils gripping her. She frowns a bit at the leg bindings though, saying "Is this necessary? You would have me hop and shuffle to follow you?"
She watches Kaikoura, blinking in surprise at the magic trick. She then looks down, at the clothes before grunting as she lands on the ground with a thud. She slowly gets up, an action difficult with her bindings. She picks up the outfit and looks over it... "Great... How am I supposed to do that then?" she asks, attempting to figure out the outfit while being bound. She eventually starts getting it on, with much difficulty.
"Are you going to eventually talk to me? Or just occasionally ask me to bend over?" she says, eventually getting the whole thing on.

Kaikoura doesn't respond to the questions or the shouting, though inwardly she winces. Even if she wasn't being watched, she couldn't show signs of weakness in front of the prisoner. She'd only get hurt...or worse. Naja would find the garb was designed with the shackles in mind and with the exception of not being incredibly sturdy, would at least be put on easily enough.
Kai doesn't watch her dress directly, turning her head to the side a bit, her Ka-nai wriggling slightly as she tries to occupy her mind. Soon she'd be back upstairs and away from the frightening woman...though of course here at least she was only being yelled at by one creature.

Naja pats herself down and says "Not exactly the most covering thing." to herself. She didn't mind too much, it's not like she hasn't worn worse before. The Wyvern Artisan's who make her armour are perverts.
She glances at Kaikoura while the girl is looking away. Naja sighs, her expression softening. "You're going to drive me mad you know? Got me talking to myself at length, geeze." she says, moving forward to the energy bars. Her words were more disappointed than angry at this point. "All right, I'm ready... for whatever it is. Slave market I assume. You know the Hunters Guild are working to outlaw slavery right? We've got Felynxes for a reason."
She tries to pull her arms apart slightly, just to see HOW strong the cables were. Yeah she wasn't breaking this any time soon. Not with her arms alone.

"No talking...please" Kai says, turning on the energy baton. "You will follow me quietly and prepare yourself." She turns off the energy bars and fights the nearly overwhelming urge to jump away. She needed to look tough. Her grip tightens on the baton and she waves it to her right for Naja to head that direction. The hall was dark and damp, despite being on a space station...maybe it was one from the 70's version of space.
Kai would follow behind her at a safe distance, ready to shock her silly if she tried to escape.
