Kai curls up into a defensive position as soon as she recovers from the fall, and only dares to peek out when she hears Naja's voice. The capain falls to the ground in a heap right beside her causing her to scramble back a little bit in shock. She remains on the floor til Naja offers to help her up...and she cautiously accepts her hand.
"Y-you saved me..." she murmurs, sounding a bit baffled. She rubs her head a bit, trying to get her thoughts in order as the ship rocks again.
"Warning...Stabilizer 2 has been damaged. Please move the ship away from hazard immediately" comes the computers' voice system again. Kai looks up at Naja and shakes her head a bit. "I, I don't know how to fly this thing. I'm not permitted..." she blinks a few times as if in sudden surprise and looks sideways towards the captain. "I can sense him..."
She lets go of Naja and leans down a bit, peering down at the unconscious man as her long Anai slides down to hang off her back. She reaches up slowly and places her palms against her temples...forcing herself to concentrate. The man on the ground begins to squirm and groan in a seemingly painful sort of way. Not a lot at first, but soon he was thrashing around quite a bit. Kai squeezes her eyes shut, pressing down harder on her head...suddenly SOMETHING breaks! A metallic snapping sound is quickly followed by Kai being knocked to the ground again with the left side of her helmet smoking a little bit.
She lay there silently for a moment, then her eyes flew open wide. "I think I can do it."

There was a screech coming from the door of the cockpit as a small, blue beast skid across the metal-plated floor with his paw claws extended. It came to a stop right at the door to the cockpit and stared inside with it's round, yellow eyes. It's large, triangular ears twitched and it's whiskers bristled as it quickly took everything in. On the ground lay Aye's four-armed oppressor, a particularly unpleasant captain with a habit of striking anything he didn't agree with. None of those things had been Aye but he was also very particular about maintenance which is what had driven the blue fuzz-ball to take refuge in the Cargo Bay vents in the first place. His eyes snapped up and looked to see the two creatures that he saw previously in the Cargo Bay. He was unsure what they were but they definitely were NOT crew members- and that made them stowaways like him. Addressing them would have to wait until later. Right now, they had to get this ship free. The blue thing zipped through the door, staying low in case the large female decided to lash out at him and headed towards one of the side consoles. With a quick flourish, his front paws opened into hands and he typed in a few quick keystrokes.
Now, an experienced technician would know that in order to start maintenance protocols on the cargo bay bots, it was a simple matter of engaging the repair routines. But this creature didn't know about that. What he DID know was that if he rebooted the entire cargo bay, it would make the robots start fixing things. And it worked- the lights flickered off and on in the Cargo bay and moments later, the loading bots began moving to repair what they could of the floor and once again resume cutting the thick crane's claw. But it also caused the rear hatch to again try to close which is generally not a good idea when there's a big cable in it and the ship's console resumed blaring about a locking mechanism failure. But at least this time, the camera's view of the destruction also featured several cargo bots with small welding torches trying to cut through a cable that demanded a much larger welding torch.
Disregarding the messages, the blue, feline-looking creature turned around to face the other two and actually addressed them for the first time. He pointed to the captain and said, "Off him."

Naja smirks as Kaikoura stands. "Of course I saved you. You kinda saved me already right? Fair trade." she says, giving Kaikoura a pat on the back before glancing around. "... uh, who said that?" she asks as the computer speaks up.
Naja decides it's just one of those weird things this place just does normally and looks to Kaikoura. "Permitted? If you want I can wake this bastard up and ask him real politely." she says with a snort. She then raises an eyebrow as Kai starts doing something that Naja would immediately consider crazy if it were not for the fact that something clearly happens. "Okay. So... you're psychic?" she asks, stepping back just a little because this was mildly freaky. She glances at the door for a moment, looking confused as if she heard something, but then shrugs and goes back to the task at hand.
Naja reaches out to once again help the blue alien up, and says "Oh good. So we know if this is your way of polite asking, assume my answer is always yes and avoid the whole thing okay?" It was only then Naja noticed the cat in the room and immediately raises her maint tool, before just pausing and staring. "Oh, it's you again. So you can talk huh?" she says, lowering the weapon. She then blinks, looking down at the captain. "Off? I ain't exactly on him." as she gives the guy a gentle punt.

Kaikoura practically leaps behind Naja when Aye makes his presence known. She held tightly to her, hoping that whatever this thing was, she'd be able to stop it.
"You don't have to kill him" she says softly up to the huntress. "Just dump him out the door as we turn over the port. It'll be better..."
Down on the docks though things had gotten a bit quiet. Gartik and his thugs had scared off most of the dock workers, including the crane operator, and had a few of his thugs guarding the crew at gunpoint while others tried to get up the damaged scaffolding to the hatch.
Several of the monitors displayed this, since they had been watching the progress of the work from here.
Kai tugs on Naja's leg again. "We have to go" she says, sounding a little desperate. She looks over to the controls and then back to Naja. She wasn't bold enough to try without being asked...or better, told.

Naja glances back at Kaikoura, raising an eyebrow as the blue alien hides. "Relax, I got you." she says with smirk before looking back to the downed Captain "Yeah I ain't killing him. Bastard he may be but I kill monsters, not people... well as people as you get when you look like you got the plague, and four arms." Naja reaches down to pick up the body and just move it out of the way so no one goes tripping on it or anything. While doing so she glances at Aye and says "Oh, thanks for your help back there. You're well vicious." She grins, this apparently being a compliment. "Guessing you're not exactly meant to be here either."
She stops when Kaikoura tugs at her leg, and looks once again to her. "What? Oh well yeah.. what are you waiting for?" she asks, furrowing her brow. "I thought you said you could try steering this tin can?" She waves her hand at the consoles vaguely. "Do your thing, get us out of here."
Naja then goes back to tending to the captain, and by that she means to rifle through his clothes, seeing what she could find. She doesn't know what to make of some of these things, even something as simple as a wallet was beyond her and just served for confusion. She does find a small blaster made for concealment and just throws that behind her. Tiny weapon! No good to her.

The blue feline shook his head and pointed to Kaikoura before pointing back at the unconscious captain. He spoke to Naja as she appeared to be the alpha here. "Kill no. Off him ship. Important want no-"
Whatever he was saying was cut off quickly when Naja discarded the small blaster from the captain. Ooh! Shiny! He picked it up in a forepaw and gave it a quick, cursory glance. Deriner I-11 microblaster, illegal in most systems due to it's high output and inaccuracy. But it had some sweet, sweet refractors inside which he couldn't wait to get his claws on. Right- what was he talking about? Oh yeah, the immediate, impending doom just outside the hull.
"We go should."

When Naja gives her the go-ahead, Kaikoura scurries over to the control panel and begins the launching sequence...or at least as much of it as she thinks she got. The images in her head were memories, but they were weird, disjointed. Too bright or too dark sometimes. Something must have been done right though, because the thrusters fire, jerking the ship to the side away from the dock. The clamp lodged in the floor of the docking bay held fast and so did the cable. The only thing that didn't hold well was the cranes support struts which groaned in protest to the pulling.
Kai grabs hold of the console and tries to stay on her feet. "Sorry! Sorry!" she squeaks, flipping more switches and trying to right things. Memories were all out of order. Finally she is able to shut off the thrusters, which causes the ship to roll back to the other side, crashing it into the scaffolding which, if nothing else, would make it harder for anything else to get on (or off) the ship.
"This should do it" she says at last, thinking she may have finally found the main thruster.

Well, all in all, this had been a pretty good show so far. A mostly blue, amphibious being was watching from rather nearby, having been in the docks not too long before all the commotion had started. At first he had ignored it, but as it had become more and more clear that someone was being chased and things were getting out of hand, the fishy was starting to sense opportunity. Jikai watches as the ship flails a bit, jerking and crashing and causing a fair bit of superficial damage. Whoever was at the helm of that was either desperate to escape, trying to fly with that cable lodged in there, or a rather bad pilot. Probably both. And he guessed that the rather enraged looking guy leading the group holding the former crew of that ship at gun point must be the one chasing them. Money might be able to be made here.
Jikai makes his way directly towards the armed group, heading straight towards their leader. For all the chaos here, he had a rather calm demeanour about him and walked at a steady, unrushed pace. The barely armoured amphibian with the oversized sword smiles a bit as two of the group turn towards him, issuing him the universal sign language for “stop”. He doesn’t, barely even looking at them as he rests his left hand against the long, sheathed blade and moves to step right past them. ”You, boss man,” he calls to Gartik, only stopping when one of the lackeys actually physically puts an arm out in front of him. ”How much would you pay a skilled bounty hunter to bring your quarry back to you?” He was forward and straight to the point at least. It didn’t matter to much to him if this foul looking creature accepted his offer immediately or not. If they got away, it would just be more reason for better payment to come his way. And a more fun hunt, for that matter~

Naja jerks a bit as Kaikoura gives them a shakey start. "Oi careful now." she says, grabbing the captain by two of his arms, and starting to drag the guy out the door. "I'll just let our friend off shall I?" It doesn't take her long to stop in the hall outside and return to inform the two others "I have no idea where the door out is." rather lamely.
"How about I just tie him up? I'll see if I can't find some rope. And maybe some clothes..." She looks down at her prison garb which really just made her feel like some kind of table dancer. "These aren't magically bound to me or anything are they?" she asks Kaikoura. Whether she gets an answer or not, she heads out of the cockpit again, this time without the burden of a four armed captain, to look for rope, and something nice to wear.

When the ship lurched, the feline dropped to all-fours, claws extended to try and hold himself steady. "Out way is-" Aye started but the large female seemed to decide on another plan and ran off. He looked, confused at Kaikoura and then down at the captain on the ground. The captain may have been slender but he was tall and dense making the unconscious creature much too big and unwieldy for the feline to carry by himself. The feline appeared somewhat muscular but that was mostly just fur. He was actually pretty lean and at full height, only a couple inches taller than Kaikoura. His ears fell back, becoming increasingly worried that the captain could return to consciousness at any moment and was unsure if he could subdue him if that happened. He would have to take matters into his own paws.
Steadying himself by staying low to the ground, he looked underneath one of the control panels and wrenched open an access panel. The USC 460s were an electricians nightmare, partly because many of the consoles had a huge excess of cables (the idea being to make them easier to customize but ultimately had the opposite effect as many USCs would end up with random cables strewn across walkways and over doors). Aye quickly picked one out- and if he was correct, it was the one that controlled the switch to the windshield wipers- and gave it a yank, pulling it free in a shower of sparks. Turns out he was only half-right. It was the cable that controlled turning the windshield wipers OFF so now they began to wipe back and forth over the cockpit, squeaking loudly each time as the windshield was currently dry as a bone. He would have to fix that later... Taking the long excess of cable, Aye proceeded to tie up the captain's four arms hastily. If he couldn't get the captian OFF the ship, at least he could keep him from using those rock-hard fists of his.

Kai looks back over her shoulder at Naja before she heads out of the cockpit.
"No, of course not" she says before going back to the controls. Personally, she didn't think this was the time to be worrying about such things, but she kept her mouth shut about that. Instead she shoots a quick glance to Aye just in case he was coming for her now that her protector was gone...but he seemed to be tying up the captain instead. She looks back to the console, momentarily baffled by the sudden deployment of the windshield wipers...then she engages the engines...at full thrust.
The ship lurches forward, dragging along the remains of the docking platform until the crane cable pulls taut and stops them abruptly. The crane groaned...as well as the floor of the docking bay. One or both was going to give out, and before too much longer.
"We're stuck!" Kai shouts to no one in particular, struggling with her disjointed knowledge of the control board. The memories were already getting fuzzier...before long she wouldn't know how to make this crate do anything at all. She slams her palm down on the controls and engages the side thrusters again, jerking the ship to the side against the pull of the cable.
It was merely a test of strength now...if the bots in the docking bay were still upright, they would probably be rushing to fix the floor which was being pulled up right from the supports, popping bolts lauched across the cargo area clanking into every metallic surface. At the other end of the tether, the cranes struts were moaning in protest against the ships pull. Fortunately, it was the crane that faulted. The support struts snapped like toothpicks as the ship finally got the better of it and the whole top portion leaned forward before toppling down to the dock in a shower of screaming metal.
The assembled group on the dock scattered, much more terrified of the toppling crane than the firearms, as the whole thing crashed to the ground. The ship, now free, blasted forward! Kai was so shocked she released the controls without releasing the side thrusters which sent the ship, the cable and a pretty significant portion of the crane spiraling back towards the inside of the station.

The blade carrying fishy finds that his attempts to aquire the rights, to what he believes will soon be a bounty, to be rudely interrupted by the scream of metal and the feeling of dread as that crane comes tumbling down. He cringes at the loud crash, frowning a bit as people start scattering. Oh well, looks like he'll just have to act and hope he can aquire the bounty on return. Sometimes you just have to take the initiative in this business. If he left things too long, they'd escape and he could spend days playing catch up.
Jikai takes a step towards the ship, which is kinda futile as it's already shooting off. He's about to turn to make a run for his own ship to give chase when he's suddenly hit full force by a massive chunk of metal. For a brief moment, everything goes black... As things start to come back to him though he finds that he's moving. Very, very fast. "Oh cra-" he starts, before having to grip onto the chunk of crane for dear life as it bounces off... whatever that portion of the station was that they just whizzed by. He was being dragged along for the ride, towed by the cable still wedged somewhere in that ship.
On the plus side, he could kill two birds with one stone. Both his potential money making, and his life, depended on him getting to that ship before it got out of the station. He starts shifting along the flailing bit of crane as best he can, moving for the cable. But progress is very slow because of how much he has to grip on to keep from just being flung off. And even if he made it to the cable, he doubted his ability to move along it to the ship like this. This was bad...

Naja wasn't sure why she was halfway up a wall, hanging onto some piping but she did know that she'd have to compliment Kaikoura's flying skills later. She drops down and does her best to make her way into another hallway before the world around her decided it wanted to move in a different direction and she ends up upside down in a pile of.. she's not sure what this stuff is. Smells good though. The huntress picks herself out of the pile of strange matter that had been dislodged from it's container, and after snatching up one of the small, orange sponge-like things she heads out further into the ship, munching on her new find. Tastes good too!
After she finds a door which she hopes leads somewhere, but turns out that somewhere is outside the ship. Naja stares out at the dock for a moment and grimaces before diving away from the door before she's hit by debris flying about out there.
Naja eventually finds half of what she's looking for although she doesn't know it at first. A whole bunch of cabinets at a glance until she spots one with a bit of cloth sticking out of the door. She wails on it for a moment with her maint jack, and uses the tool to crowbar the door open once it had a healthy dent in it. She beams at the jackpot that falls onto the floor in front of her, a bunch of clothes! And some other things like a book, a picture of some creature(A crew members wife in actual), and junk Naja would never begin to understand. She picks up the clothes and decides these will do. Several sizes too big for her, made for a creature that didn't have legs and just moved around on a mass of flesh. But that was perfect, and she starts ripping it up to make her own damn clothes.
Eventually she got something she was satisfied with and dropped that on a bench and wrenched at the stupid outfit she was given as a prisoner, ripping it off and throwing it across the room. She then starts to get dressed in what she thinks is a rather damn good job. Even if it is bright yellow jumpsuit material.

The feline slides backwards as the ship abruptly engaged full thrusters straight ahead and was then hurled forward when the ship stopped much more abruptly- all while accompanied by his recently-bound alien friend. He scrambled up, looking to the forward display in a panic to see the space station spinning outside after Kai released the controls. He darted towards the controls and didn't so much push Kai away as he just slid up between her and the controls. With a swipe of his paws, he disengaged the side thrusters and engaged the aft thrusters just before the ship had completed it's twirling loop, narrowly avoiding the space dock and shooting up into the vast, cluttered space of the Jachrid Station. They were still a far way away from open space, however, as this was only the interior of the large asteroid where the station was built inside. He disengaged the aft thrusters and shortly, the ship stabilized so instead of rocketing in an uncontrollable spiral, it was now rocketing in a straight line. He looked back at Kaikoura, letting out a relieved sigh and then looked back out the window- which was still squeaking with the windshield wipers- to see at least a dozen vessels with bright, flashing lights coming towards them. His ears fell as he recognized those things. They almost invariably meant authority figures that were almost always unpleasant and violent. The cat went back to the controls and yanked them to the side, hurtling the ship to the right.
Truth is, he had never actually piloted a ship but he had seen them being flown quite a bit. He knew enough to know what things made it go up, down, side to side, faster and slower. He just lacked the finesse that an experienced pilot. It was a lot more like a child who had watched their parents drive a car and knew enough to turn the wheel and press the pedal. So when he turned to the right, it was a grave overcompensation and they were ONCE AGAIN heading back towards the docks at incredible speed.

Kaikoura toppled away from the controls as Aye manages to get the ship under control. She sighs heavily from the floor as they stop thier tumbling and level out...hopefully wherever Naja was, she was safe. She'd barely managed to get back to her feet when Aye decides to send the ship jerking to the other side. Kai falls forward, catching herself on the control panel as the dock comes screaming towards them past the malfunctioning screen wipers.
"Please, excuse me" Kai says to Aye in a somewhat begging tone as she presses her palm on the control pad once again and manages to pull the ship up in time to crash into only the topmost of the metal shipping containers, sending a great many of them toppling to the ground and into other stacks, knocking them over as well. The remaining bit of the crane didn't help matters as it whipped along behind them smashing into whatever happened to be in it's way. Anyone attached would be in for qutite a ride.
The relief was short-lived, however, because ahead of them now were the first of the buildings nearest to the dock. Kaikoura simply baces for impact as they smash through the first one, scattering the occupants into the street. Fortunately they'd only glanced off it, but there were plenty more ahead as they roared through the station proper.
"Warning. Warning. Collision detection" says the voice of the ships A.I. system. "Hull integrity is at 80%. It is recommended that you alter your flightpath to avoid further impact damange."
