Jikai was starting to feel like he wanted to throw up as the piece of crane he was riding majestically slams into every piece of the station it could concieveably touch. He curses whoever was at the helm of that ship. They clearly couldn't make up their mind where they were going or fly in anything that remotely resembled a straight line. He HAD to get to that ship.
Perhaps it was lucky that the pilot was crap as they smash a few shipping containers, then a chunk out of a building. It wasn't much, but it slowed the ship some allowing the chunk of metal carrying him to catch up a bit. Enough, maybe? It would have to be. Every moment he spent on this was another moment he could be thrown off or shooshed against a part of the station.
The fishy leaps. He leaps like he's never lepped before. He impacts the top of the ship painfully as it starts to accellerate again after it's latest collision, immediately scrambling for a maintenance hatch and clinging on for his life (yet again), yanking and tugging on it desperately to open it. It gives, the locking mechanism seeming to have been damaged at some point during the wild ride, and he slips inside. Whether or not there was a way into the ship internal from here he wasn't sure quite yet, but as long as he couldn't be thrown off that was a bonus.

Naja makes her way out of the locker room and heads back to the cockpit with a bundle of spare materials in her arms, or tries to until she rolls down a hall thanks to the ship rocking hard again. The huntress grumbles as she picks herself back up and continues on, this time doing her best to make sure she's near something she can grab onto if this happens again.
She's nearly there, but alas ends up interrupted again but this time not by the hazardous space craft movement but by a fish coming in through a hatch. She eeps in surprise and staggers back a bit, looking Jikai over, about to open her mouth and question them before noticing the swords.
Naja narrows her eyes, hoisting her materials under one arm and holding her makeshift weapon, firmly in her left. This fish thing was armed with purpose, so it couldn't just be part of the crew. But it didn't look like the dogs with guns outside. In fact... "... Samurai? You're not from Yukomo by any chance?" she asks carefully. She had no idea if there were fish people in Yukomo but there sure were samurai. It would never have occurred to her that such a thing exists on other worlds. She finds her line of questioning cut short when the ship hits yet another obstacle. "Dammit Blu!" she shouts out loud and upside down again. Not that Kaikoura would be able to hear her. Naja quickly tries to scramble back onto her feet in case the new amphibian wanted to use those swords of his.

His eyes went wide as the ship rocketed towards the heavy warehouses within the space port and his eyes went frantically back to the control panel. He'd seen those aliens at the helm plenty of times but he didn't have time to go over what they did under every circumstance. He just wanted to NOT hit the buildings so he swiped his paw over the control to turn left. Or at least, he thought it had been the one that turned left. It was actually the one that caused the ship to spin counter-clockwise. The ship rolled over onto it's side, only narrowly avoiding smashing into two thick, buildings and was now flying on it's side in a narrow alley between them.
"Warning, collission-" *DING* The ship clipped off a metal escape ladder in the alley. "Warning, colli *DONG* Warn- *BANG* Warning, co- *BING* Warning, collision-"
"Know I!" he shouted, trying to find the one that actually turned the ship instead of spinning it. When he thought he found it, he yanked his paw over it and the ship took a hard, sharp turn to the right, leaving the alleyway singed and smoking from the force of the engines and the dock growing smaller behind them. And the flashing lights of the police ships growing much bigger in front of them.

"Look out!" Kai cries as she sees the police ships swarming them from the front. Between her and Aye fighting for control of the ship, it was incredible that they hadn't crashed entirely. The ship dips, a move that the police seemed to be anticipating as they dive to follow the ship. Surely it would stop for them?
"Incoming transmission. Band One. Priority high" says the computer, a holographic waveform appearing above the controls in front of Aye and Kaikoura. Before either of them can even touch it, a new voice begins shouting at them.
"This is station security! Pull that damned ship over right now you maniac before we blast you out of the sky!" The voice is gruff, scratchy and quite angry, the explatives serving only to enhance that feeling.
Kaikoura reflexively pulls her hands away from the controls, obeying the order given her, causing the ship to pull back into a steep climb. The police ships are forced to scatter and come around to resume chase. The crane they were towing continues down, however, and smashes a building -the very club that Kai and Naja had escaped from only a short while ago- entirely to pieces, the resulting collapse bringing down several of the buildings around it as well. When it comes back up, many of the smaller ships go down.
The ship continues its steep climb up and up...heading in an almost paralell path to the huge tower that connected the city to the surface of the asteroid in which it was built.

Jikai was not prepared to come face to face with the powerful huntress right this moment. His head was spinning from his fantastically fun ride on the crane. He had practically tumbled in through the hatch, which closed automatically behind him, and was quickly trying to scramble to his feet when the pair are ragdolled by the ships impossible to predict, sudden jerky motions. He's almost on his feet, when suddenly the left wall seem to decide that now it's going to be the floor and he falls flailing onto that instead. "What maniac is at the helm of this thing!?" he shouts at Naja, before grabbing onto a locker that was luckily bolted to the ground as gravity decides to change again.
The fish cringes a bit at all the scraping and dinging and smashing sounds. "Escape is going to be futile if this thing isn't space-worthy by the time you get out of the station. Tell your companion to pull over!" he demands. His thoughts weren't so much on a potential bounty right now as much as just surviving. He considers preparing to fight against what would clearly be a tough opponent, but right now the real threat was the ship itself. He's content to hold on where he is now, cringing in anticipation of the next hard jerk in another direction.

Naja tries to brace herself against a wall piping, watching Jikai carefully, gripping her maintenance tool firmly in her left hand. She grins and says "Dunno, never got her name." and tries to crawl for the door, using whatever she can to brace herself as she moves for the door.
She laughs a bit, as she reaches the door, looking back at Jikai and pointing her tool at him. "Yeah I will just go and do that okay? You, sit tight. I'm not done with you." she says before climbing out into the hall and realizing the corridor was now a vertical shaft. She gives it a very enthused look before holstering her tool and grabbing onto the convenient piping and climbing her way up towards the cockpit again.

The feline cringed when he heard the sheer destruction the towed crane was causing. But at least the flashing lights were behind them. The holographic angry head, on the other hand, was still there and getting increasingly angry.
"What the HELL do you think you're doing!? You're gonna bring the whole damn asteroid imploding in on itself! You park that crate this second or you'll have so much plasma up your ass you'll be coughing up capacitors!"
"Shields!" the cat blurted, frantically. He abandoned the control panel which had only recently been relinquished by Kai and tried to find the engineering console. It had to be one of these buttons! No time to think about it so he just mashed the first button he could find- and was immediately thrown to the back of the cockpit. Turns out the button he located with the hyperspace initiator- and they were now accelerating in preparation for a warp.
"Please input destination," the computer chimed. "Please input destination."

"What? What?" Kai cries as the disembodied head barks at them. Aye shifts, allowing her to palm the other control pad, but that serves only to smooth out their climb. Below the ship, the spire rushes past, looking from the cockpit like a massive metal tether that was pulling the ceiling towards them. There was a way through up there, to the surface...but they were going too fast and neither of them were experienced enough to make that work anyway. Worse, the memories Kai had siphoned were fading quickly. Soon the entire panel would be entirely foreign to her again.
The ship rocks as they're hit from behind, the police having caught up with them again, getting close enough now to fire at them.
"Warning, multiple energy weapon impacts near the engine. It is recommended that you activate the shields now" says the disinterested voice of the computer system.
Kai looks back at Aye. "Perhaps weapons...maybe" she says just as she too is thrown back off the panel and against the back wall along with the blue cat creature.
"Hyperdrive active. Time to jump, fifteen seconds."
Kai lets out a little cry of pain as she falls on her long Anai causing her to see stars...or maybe those were out the windshield.
"Do you want to engage the shield and weapon systems?" asks the computer, completely disengaged from the chaos as they are hit by another volley of laserblasts.

"I'm not done with you either," he grumbles, getting back up to his feet. He quickly moves to follow the oddly dressed girl, and is quite relieved when the ship moves again, for once making something at least resembling a smooth course correction. He peeks his head out and looks up the hallway, seeing Naja clambering her way up. Well, that had to be the way to the cockpit, and she said she was going to see her compatriot, so he had to follow. He grabs onto the same piping as the huntress and starts climbing after her as quickly as he can, wanting to spend as little time as possible in as dangerous a position before the next inevitable jolt. He could hear the blast impacts from their pursuers too. "What the hell is going on..."

"Absolutely! I could use a better weapon and a shield." she vaguely tells the disembodied voice of the computer, as she finally clambers her way back into the cockpit, and looks around, holding onto the door frame to steady herself. "Hey, Blu! Cat! Do you think you could get this air ship level again? Only it is really hard to punch a guy when the rooms keep moving."
The huntress then peeks back down into the upturned hallway to see Jikai climbing after. "No fish allowed!" she calls down, before trying to move further into the cockpit to help Kaikoura up. "You ain't the most sturdy of girls I ever met." she tells her, trying to ignore the entire commotion as she had NO idea what was actually going on. She tries to focus on her companion, taking a moment to examine her tendrils, taking one in a hand. "You know, my first aid skills are spotty at best but I got no idea if you need a potion or what."

The computer replied to Naja with a chime but with so many immediately impending circumstances, it couldn't finish one phrase without starting the next. "Weapons and shields acti- Time to jump ten se- please input destina- Collision immine- Cappuccino ready-"
The monitors were a blur of red and yellow warnings all overlayed on one another. A holographic head was shouting at them as laser blasts shook the ship like a maraca. The big female was yelling things. And all of this on top of a sheer, stone wall hurdling straight towards them at phenomenal speed! Fighting against the forces of acceleration, the feline positioned himself with his feet against the back wall of the cockpit and with all his strength, jumped towards the flashing console with his hand extended out, reaching for something, ANYTHING that could save them. Everything seemed to slow to a crawl for that one moment, fingers outstretched desperately, hoping his jump would be enough to reach the panel. It was so close- two inches, one inch, half an inch- it wasn't enough! He could feel the forces pulling him back towards the wall. He strained his fingers outward and in his desperation, extended out his claws which just barely scraped against the panel.
"Weapons firing."
A split second before the ship smashed against the walls of the station, the ship's Hendrite Particle Cannons fired both barrels and blasted into the rock wall. The ship slammed against stone and it's inhabitants were hurled forward but instead of converting them to a mushy paste of flesh and alloy, the ship smashed through the cracked stone wall into open space.
"Collision detected, collision detected. Forward hull at 12% integrity. Windshield Wipers lost. Cappuccino lost. Hyperdrive jump in 2... 1..."

Kai was far too busy looking past Naja at the rock rushing at them to really register what she was saying. As Aye leaped, she could see the crews on the surface of the rock looking down at them begin to scatter. There was really nothing for Kai to do besides seize Naja and pull her face against her to hide from the looming impact. Suddenly there was a loud explosion ahead of them as thier ship is bombarded by fragments of rock and metal debris. Kai is jolted against Naja roughly and she can do nothing but cling to her as she waits to be crushed...but that doesn't happen. Behind them, the pursuing ships are forced to break off as the ceiling collapses behind them, leaving them in open space.
"What happened? she asks meekly, still clinging tightly to Naja.
"Collision detected, collision detected. Forward hull at 12% integrity. Windshield Wipers lost. Cappuccino lost. Hyperdrive jump in 2... 1..."
With a sudden jolt, likely because of the strain on the hull and shields, the ship accelerates to FTL speeds. The little windshield wiper stems waggle back and fourth against a sea of white streaks and blackness as they're thrown across the universe.
"Malfunction, malfunction. There's something wrong with the systems is what I'm saying" says the computer. "Awooga, awooga. Alarm noises."
The viewscreen cracks under the strain, sending a long, broad fissure inching across the width of it. Several wall panels burst, sending showers of sparks, wires, dryer hose and even water spilling out onto the floor.
"I recommend you stop the ship soon" says the computer once again. "Just a thought, you know, before the ship breaks apart. The hull integrity is now at 6%."
Someone would need to reach the blinking large blinking 'stop' panel which was currently hovering just over the main panel. It wouldn't be Kai who was simply trembling and clinging to Naja for dear life.

Jikai is glad. Why would anyone want to polute perfectly good water with coffee? Goddamn cappuccino. Oh, right, danger. When the ship hits the wall, the sudden decceleration jolts him up through the door, narrowly missing Naja and Kaikoura. Unsteadily, he begins to rise to his feet. "My pay for brining you lot in better be-" Unfortunately, he's cut off as the computer counts down "1..." and the ship hurtles into hyperspace. He tumbles back against the wall with a grunt, upside down in the corner and wearing the biggest frown you've ever seen on a fish.
Realising the emergency, he quickly rights himself and makes a dash in a wobbly line for the stop panel. He saves time that might be taken reaching for the thing by tripping over his own feet, dizzy from all the tumbling he's been doing, and hitting the panel with his face. It seems to do the trick, the ship coming to a screaching halt. There wasn't really anything in space for the ship to screach against, but the hull seems to certainly be protesting it's ill treatment. Oh, and the sudden stop causes Jikai to tumble again, smacking into the viewscreen and slumping onto the ground. "I... I'm just gonna stay here... for a few minutes..." he groans. Fish weren't meant to fly.

"The hell is a cappucino." she says to herself quietly before shaking her head. As everything explodes outside the ship she clings onto Kaikoura, trying to keep the girl as safe as possible. She looks up after it stops and says "... uh you tell me." to Kai before everything goes to hell again as they enter hyperspace.
This was Naja's first ever space ship ride, and she was sure as hell hoping it was her last. The huntress staggers back, onto her back, keeping Kaikoura tight in her grasp. She really hoped as well that this wouldn't be how she dies. She isn't even sure what was going on let alone what horrible things could happen to someone in space boat. She figured it was a pretty horrible way to go though.
When everything finally stops she sits up cautiously and says "We done? We good? Can we get off this thing now and never do that again?" as she tries to gently peel Kaikoura off.

Having been pinned to the back of the cockpit by the sudden jump, the cat slowly groans up to his paws once the hectic run of ordeals is over. All those sudden jumps and rushes- it's left him utterly exhausted. At this point, he just wants a place to nap. It seems that the orange girl and the blue girl have the same idea as the smaller one is curled into the bigger one. And they weren't hostile before so he sees no reason why that would have changed. The blue kitty walks over to Naja and Kai and without any word or ceremony, curls up into a warm ball of fluff beside them. This may hinder Naja's attempts to remove Kaikoura.
"Off get no. Space in are we."
The overhead speakers crackle over a voice that tries to speak and after a couple seconds, the crackling stops and then the speaker at the control panel starts to make noise instead but this time the voice is much more comprehensible. "Hull integrity at 2%. Probably should have stopped sooner but, you know, that's your thing. I would have told you earlier but cockpit intercom seems to be on the fritz. Oh, and my formality enhancer circuits are probably pretty busted too. I'd tell you where but the damage control indicator is damaged. Probably just have to just try things out and see what works. Huh... shields aren't working. Guns are, well, I don't even think they're there anymore. I'm trying 'em but all they're doing is making a kind of VZZZZZT thing. Navigation is- oh hey, there it is!"
The spider-webbed cockpit window then lights up with a shaky little arrow that's pointing to something floating outside the ship. It looks to be a sophisticated, rectangular device with a sleek antenna on it. It also looks like it had been connected to a data jack that was then ripped out of it, as evident by a large chunk of the device floating beside it in a tangled mess.
"Don't think it'll be any good to us now. Don't worry, we've got a backup." In the corner of the room, a mechanical device suddenly sprang to live in a screeching whine of an electrical motor pulling a pin and ribbon across a continuous sheet of paper that's being pulled into it through hole-punched tracks on both sides of the page. It places dots on it's matrix-like interface as it screeches across the paper, slowly but surely pulling the paper through one tick at a time.
